Here are some random pictures from the last few days. Maria has been trying here and there to use the potty. She loves to sit on it, but doesn't like to go. We tried a few times to put her in her big girl panties to see if we could encourage her a bit more to go so "Minnie was dry and happy" but she really doesn't care to much at this point. She does love sitting on the potty so we'll just keep running with that. I know it will all click in her head at one point. I'm not too worried about it, she did just turn two.
We went to Chris and Rick's for New Year's Eve. Maria had a blast playing all night, and staying up until midnight, despite not taking a nap during the day! She loved playing with Christopher's Handy Manny tool set! She had fun using "Pat" (the hammer) and fixing everything.
Before going to Chris and Rick's for the evening, we took Maria outside to play in the snow. She LOVED the snow. She actually cried when it was time to come in. She had a great time rolling around in the snow, letting Mike pile snow on her while he shoveled, and of course stopping to give me her "cheese" face for some pictures.

Finally, a normal smiling Maria picture. Or as she likes to call herself..."Mia." Her new favorite saying, "That's Mia's______" fill in the blank, or "yeah Mia!" Oh to be two again!
