Check out one happy 2 year old! We started our day by attending a birthday party for a friends daughter's 1st birthday at Brookfield Zoo. Maria loved having cake and playing with all the little kids at the party. After the party we wandered around the zoo checking out the exhibits that were open. She really liked the monkeys. It was nice to let Maria walk around the zoo without worrying that she was going to get separated from us. There was hardly anyone their so it was a perfect opportunity for her to walk.

When we got home Mike gave Maria her special Valentine's Day flowers. She LOVES them. It was so cute. Maria said good night to them when we put her to bed. The first thing she said this morning when we went in her room was, "My Flowers!" Oh she loves her flowers. What a sweet Daddy she has!

Maria in her Valentine's Day dress. Her hands are covering the pretty red bow with the heart on it. Her and Mary had the same dress on. They looked super cute!
After our normal Sunday morning church and breakfast, Ri took her nap and we went out for pizza for dinner. We stopped by to visit Mike's grandma, and then headed home. We're super proud of Maria tonight, she actually peed on the potty! It only took a little bribery! Nothing a heart shaped Reece's peanut butter heart can't make a girl do!

Yea, new pictures!!!! It was so nice to see the new ones. Thanks for always taking the time to add to her site.
Glad that she like the flowers from her daddy.
The zoo is a great place to go and visit in the winter. Like you had posted, not many people. We have our membership at Brookfield and we love it. We can go at any time we want and just stroll and not get knocked down by rude people.
Take care
